Crypto Agenda September 10, 2025

10 Eyl 2025 · 11:59 · Levent Kayıra · 4 dk okuma

The cryptocurrency market started the day with a cautious and sideways outlook. While investors remain wary due to profit-taking and geopolitical risks, Bitcoin (BTC) is trading just below $112,000 at $111,687, keeping the total market capitalization at $3.97 trillion. Ethereum (ETH) is priced at $4,308, Ripple (XRP) at $2.95, and Solana (SOL) at $219.18.

Recently, the main drivers of the market have been expectations of a FED rate cut, ongoing ETF developments, and regulatory news from around the world. These dynamics are shaping the near-term direction of prices while investor interest continues to rise.

Grayscale Pushes for Altcoin ETFs

Crypto asset manager Grayscale has filed with the SEC for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) tracking Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Hedera (HBAR), and Litecoin (LTC). The company plans to convert its existing closed-end trusts into ETFs, aiming to list them on NYSE Arca or Nasdaq.

This process mirrors the successful approvals of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in 2024. While some applications remain pending, the SEC has delayed its decision on Grayscale’s Hedera ETF and Bitwise’s Dogecoin ETF.

🔎 For investors, this represents an important step toward diversification of altcoin-based institutional products and the potential inflow of new liquidity.

Belarus Expands Crypto Strategy

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko urged the country’s banks to expand the use of cryptocurrencies. Facing economic contraction due to EU and US sanctions, Belarus aims to leverage digital payments, QR-based solutions, and instant settlement systems to strengthen its financial sector.

The number of crypto users in Belarus is expected to exceed 855,000 by 2026, reaching a penetration rate of 9.5%. Lukashenko also forecast that cross-border crypto payments through global exchanges could surpass $3 billion by year-end.

🌍 This demonstrates how sanction-hit economies are increasingly adopting cryptocurrencies as an alternative financial bridge.

Cboe to Launch Perpetual Futures in the US

Cboe Global Markets announced plans to launch perpetual futures contracts for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on November 10, pending regulatory approval.

These contracts will mimic the popular perpetual instruments in DeFi and offshore markets but will be offered within the regulated US environment. The contracts will be cash-settled and indexed to BTC and ETH spot prices, offering investors longer-term positioning without constant rollovers.

📊 According to Kaiko, 68% of Bitcoin trading volume in 2025 has come from perpetual contracts. This move marks Cboe’s return to expanding its crypto derivatives lineup after its initial Bitcoin futures launch in 2017.

Technical Analysis

Bitcoin (BTC)

  • Current Price: $111,687
  • Range: $110,950 – $111,770
  • Support: $110,000 – $108,500
  • Resistance: $113,000 – $116,000 – $120,000

Bitcoin is consolidating within the $108,000 – $112,000 band. Sustained closes above $113,000 may trigger upside momentum toward $120,000, while dips below $110,000 could increase selling pressure. On-chain data shows hodling behavior strengthening, with exchange reserves down 1.2% over the past two weeks.

Ethereum (ETH)

  • Current Price: $4,308
  • Range: $4,280 – $4,380
  • Support: $4,200 – $3,800
  • Resistance: $4,600 – $5,000

Ethereum shows a stronger technical posture than BTC. ETH staking has reached 32.5 million ETH, a new record, reducing circulating supply. As long as ETH holds above $4,200, the $5,000 target remains intact. L2 transaction volumes increased 7% over the past week, signaling sustained ecosystem demand.

Ripple (XRP)

  • Current Price: $2.95
  • Range: $2.90 – $3.04
  • Support: $2.90 – $2.77
  • Resistance: $3.04 – $3.20

Ripple tested $3.03 but pulled back alongside the broader market. The key $3.00 psychological level remains crucial. With support from FED rate cut expectations and partnerships such as Ripple’s custody deal with BBVA, a breakout above $3.04 could open the path to $3.20.

Market Outlook

  • A potential FED rate cut could attract stronger institutional flows into Bitcoin and altcoins, pushing the total market cap above $4 trillion.
  • Approval of altcoin ETFs may diversify institutional portfolios, boosting adoption and valuations into 2026.
  • Belarus’s pro-crypto stance may inspire other sanction-hit nations to embrace digital assets, fueling regional adoption trends.
  • Cboe’s perpetual futures could increase US institutional participation in crypto derivatives, enhancing liquidity and stability.

Overall Assessment

The crypto market opened the day cautiously but remains supported by macro and institutional drivers. Grayscale’s ETF filings, Belarus’s crypto push, and Cboe’s derivatives expansion highlight the industry’s evolution toward broader adoption.

Medium-term, Bitcoin’s performance above $113,000 may confirm bullish continuation, Ethereum’s resilience above $4,200 keeps the $5,000 target alive, and Ripple’s defense of the $3.00 level remains pivotal.

🚀 Going forward, regulation, institutional flows, and global macro developments will play a decisive role in shaping the crypto market’s trajectory.
